The packaging container is for small objects such as items of jewellery. It has at least one container section, this being a solid plate (1,2), with a hollow chamber located in the plate. The hollow area has a housing (5,6) with a cavity matching the shape of the object (9) or of one of the objects included. The hollow chamber in the solid plate is either milled or turned out of the plate. The secondary housing comprises two complete, elastic sections which correspond to each other, with a hollow section (7,8) for the object.
