Shaft with sealing ring for lubricated bearing

The shaft (5) has a sealing ring with a central annular body (1) and two sealing lips (2). The lips are separated axially, and are arranged conically with respect to the shaft axis, in opposing directions. The lips have surfaces or edges which can slide against the shaft, and at least one of these has a recess (6) which extends from it. At least one may also have a slit, and each lip may have recesses (6,7) and slits which are arranged behind one another with circumferential separations, which may be constant. The recesses may be triangular, and those on each lip may be offset circumferentially from one another.
