Manufacturing operation patterns for implantation operations for installing implants in upper or lower jaw

A three-dimensional model geometry of the mouth or jaw region and an x=ray image of the same region, digitally and relative to the skull of the patient, is input into a computer. The basic statistics of the upper and lower jaw are detected. Regions are marked for support zones to be replaced and are transmitted into the X-ray image. An optimal implant position is compared with an existing vertical bone. In accordance with the agreement between the optimal position and the bone, reference points are defined in the X-ray image. A transversal X-ray sectional image recording considering the reference points, is digitally input into the computer with respect to the skull of the patient. The angles necessary for the operation and anatomical units are measured and analysed and are represented by typical values. These values are transmitted to the operation pattern.
