Rubber compsn. (I) contg. (A) a copolymer rubber derived from ethylene (E), propylene (P) and unconjugated diene, with a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4 100 deg C) of 40 or less and an E/(E + P) wt. ratio of (75-95)/100, and (B) a liq. polyisoprene rubber with 70% or more hydrogenated double bonds, in a wt. ratio of (A)/(B) = 65/35-95/5. Also claimed is (i) very hard vulcanised rubber with a hardness (JIS-A) of 90 or more, obtd. by sulphur vulcanisation of compsn. (I); (ii) sealing strips for cars, runners for car windows, and seals for buildings made from (I).
