Operating method for time controlled equipment

The price per unit time of credit which is stored in an intermediate memory and which corresponds to the amount of money inserted into the equipment is converted into sections of time. The corresponding time credit is then stored in an intermediate memory. The time credit is decremented and monitored during the course of the function time interval. After a stop in the function time interval the remaining time credit is reconverted back to monetary credit for the repayment of coins or crediting chip cards.
