<p>Accelerators of formula : R2N-CS-Zn-S-CS-NR2 (where R = 1-4 C alkyl) are prepd. by pptn. reaction in aq. medium of >=1 carbamate of formula : R2N-CS-S-M (where M is Na or K) with >=1 of Zn acetate, bromide, chloride, fluoride, iodide, sulphate and nitrate and with addn. of >=1 rubber to the carbamate either before or at the same time as mixing it with the Zn cpd. Accelerators are more easily sepd. from the slurry and dried.</p> |
