<p>Deicing compsns. for petrols, preventing the freezing of water droplets in the carburettor, contain a major amt. of a hydrocarbon-based fuel boiling in the petrol range and 0,0001-1.5 wt.% of a product obtained by the neutralisation to Ph 7-9, pref. 7-8, of (a) a diamine of formula: (where x and y are such that x + y = 6-30, and n = 2-4), pref. an N-(10-21C sec. alkyl). trimethylenediamine, with (b) a phosphate ester obtained by reacting 1-3 moles (esp., ca. 1 mole) of polyphosphoric acid with 1 mole of the condensation product of a 3-5C alcohol, pref. isoamyl alcohol, with 1-10 moles of alkylene oxide, pref. ethylene oxide.</p> |
