The grinding mill (10) has a mill housing (12) containing a rotating axle (20) a mill rotor (18) with impact strip (22). A radially inner counter support face (58) is provided on a support strip (60) releasable from the rotor (18). The support strip has a radially outer bearing face (74) on the support strip side for positive engagement on a catch face (72) of the impact strip. This catch face is radially inwardly aligned and leads the impact strip in the rotary work direction (D). A slit (32) in the rotor (18) holds the radially inner strip part (45) of the impact strip and in cross-section is dimensioned so that after release and possible removal of the support strip the bearing face (69) on the side of the impact strip can be disengaged from the overlap area with the counter stop face (70) and the impact strip can be lifted out of the slit in the radial direction.
