The process is characterized in that it comprises: - gathering and sorting the oak apples by size; - disinfecting and bleaching the oak apples, subjecting them to a bath of sodium hypochlorite in a container; - washing the oak apples in water in order to remove the sodium hypochlorite and drying them for 48 hours inside an enclosure with air circulation at 50 degree C; - subjecting the oak apples to a dyeing process by immersion for 5 seconds and subsequent drying inside an enclosure with air circulation at 50 degree C for 12 hours; - impregnating and injecting the oak apples with an aromatic liquid, the natural perforation of the oak apple on account of the burrowing-in of the insect playing a part in this stage, it being the skin of the oak apple which regulates the volatility through it of the aromatic liquid it contains. <IMAGE>
