PURPOSE: To provide a car steering angle detector that is able to detect a car steering angle in a highly accurate manner, and high in universality as well as to make it easily installable even after marketing. CONSTITUTION: This steering angle detector consists of an input unit 1 inputting a car wheel base, a minimum turning radius and the lock-to-lock revolution of a steering wheel, a memory 2 storing each input value as data, a gyro 3 to be installed in the steering wheel to detect a physical quantity pertaining to a turning angle of the car steering wheel, and an arithmetic unit 4 operating a car steering angle from respective data stored in the memory 2 and a detection signal of this gyro 3. |
