PURPOSE: To improve the convenience of the radio calling receiver by providing plural language tables corresponding to plural languages, selecting any of the plural language tables, displaying guidance in plural languages so as to allow even a foreigner other than Japanese to use the receiver. CONSTITUTION: Plural language tables corresponding to plural languages are provided and a guidance is registered to each language table in each language in advance, and when a language setting mode SW of a setting switch 7 is inputted, a language table is selected by language setting processing, a control section 1 and a selected language table are connected. Furthermore in the case of guidance display, the control section 1 reads the guidance from the language table connecting to the control section 1 and outputs it to a display control section 6, the display control section 6 provides the output of a display signal to a display section 5 and the guidance is displayed on the display section 5. |
