摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To shorten the time needed for fetching a data string by providing a 2nd block sequence decision means which operates independently of a 1st block sequence decision means and then detecting the synchronism of RDS(radio data system) data. CONSTITUTION: When the first RDS data equivalent to 26 bits are fetched, an offset word coincidence detection means 17 decides whether the arithmetic result of a syndrome arithmetic block 16 is coincident with either one of syndrome registers 18. If no coincidence is secured, the next single bit is fetched by a 26-bit shift register. This operation is repeated until the first offset coincidence is detected. A 1st block sequence decision means 21 does not operate until the next data equivalent to 26 bits are fetched after the first coincidence of offset words is detected. Then the means 17 detects the coincidence every time a 2nd block sequence decision means 26 fetches the next RDS data by one bit after the first coincidence of offset words is detected.</p>
