PURPOSE: To obtain an ice-maker which shortens ice-making time, improve an ice-parting property and has high reliability, by a method wherein an air duct is controlled so as to supply cold air to only the upper surface side of an ice tray during the early condition of ice-making and so as to supply the cold air to only the lower surface side of the ice tray when ice-making condition reaches the definite condition of ice-making. CONSTITUTION: Cold air is supplied from a cold air-blowing port 11 toward an ice tray 1 of which the upper surface is open, of which the sectional area becomes larger in proportion as a height from at the bottom increases, and which has four-side walls, and ice is made. In this case, an air duct-controlling means 23 controls an air duct of cold air duct-selecting means so as to supply cold air to only the upper surface of the ice tray 1 when an ice-making condition detected by an ice condition detecting means 14 is in the early condition of ice-making. When the condition of ice-making reaches the definite condition of ice-making, the air duct of the cold air-selecting means is controlled so as to supply the cold air to only the lower surface side of the ice tray 1. In this way, ice is made easy to part from the ice tray 1 and can be quickly made by shortening ice-making time. |
