SWITCH WHICH SELECTIVELY MAKES FLUID DIRECT TO TWO KINDS OF CATHETERS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an advantageous improvement of a switch by assembling the switch into an anti-cardioplegic drug administering system. SOLUTION: Fluid is directed selectively to one of two catheters 22, 24 by a switch 100 in such a way that a manually expandable balloon 26 equipped in the catheter 24 is expanded, when fluid is directed to one catheter 24. The switch has a valve mechanism 110 linked with a balloon expanding mechanism 102 operatively in such a way that the balloon 26 is expanded when fluid is directed to the catheter 24 and the balloon 26 is deflated when fluid is directed to the other catheter 22. Both catheters 22, 24 are assembled in an anti- cardioplegic drug administering system as an antegrade catheter and a retrograde catheter respectively.
