PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recordable CD element using a phthalocyanine dye and a gold reflective layer prevented for a defect of the gold layer. SOLUTION: The optical recording element comprises, in the following order, a transparent substrate bearing an optical recording layer containing a phthalocyanine dye and a gold reflective layer. The recording layer contains sufficient sulfur to prevent a defect of the reflective layer. |
