PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aortic cannula which can provides a high volume flow with a low exit velocity, reducing the jet and atheroma blood clot syndrome. SOLUTION: The aortic cannula 20 which has an edge 24 inserted into an aorta to distributes fluid into the aorta has a flexible tip 30 with plural spiral slits 42 that expand and contract in response to the pressure in cannula 20, and reduces the exit velocity of the fluid. In this way, the jet of the cannula exit is reduced and the onset of atheroma blood clot syndrome is reduced. |
