PURPOSE: To provide a container of which the lid can be immediately opened only by one hand. CONSTITUTION: A container 10 has the elastomer 30 arranged in the vicinity of the hinge 20 of the lid 12 of a container main body 11 capable of fully opening the lid 12 by elastic restoring force and the closed lid engaging mechanism parts (engaging recessed part 41, engaging protruding part 43) provided to the side surface part 14B on the side opposite to the hinge 20 of the container main body 11 and the lid 12. When the top surface part 14A of the container main body 11 is pressed, the side surface part 14B connected to the top surface part 14A is flexuously deformed and the engaging action of the engaging mechanism parts can be released. |
