<p>PURPOSE: To reduce a wait time till the reproduction of transmission information by multiplexing the coding bit stream of a known coding system to the decoding software of unknown coding decoding system at a receiver side and transmitting the multiplexed signal. CONSTITUTION: In the case of sending a bit stream 402 coded according to a known coding and decoding system to a reproduction side or a receiver side and software information 401 required for decoding a bit stream 403 coded by an unknown coding decoding system to a device at the reproduction side, the software information 401 is multiplexed to the bit stream and the multiplexed data are sent. Thus, the received information is reproduced for a time when the decoding software is received and compiled. Thus, when the software for decoding a coded bit stream is sent before the coded bit stream is sent, the time from the start of reception till the start of reproduction is reduced.</p> |
