<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a plastic bottle from being deformed and losing functions basing on the shape of an self-standing bottle even after increase of the inner pressure due to heat-sterilization. CONSTITUTION: The vertical section is shaped to show a nearly waved form at the upper and lower parts in the peripheral wall of a laminated plastic bottle 10. Extensible circular parts 16 are provided to stretch along the whole periphery by the increase of bottle temperature and inner pressure by heating. An aqueous solution 22 which is chiefly constituted of an isotonicity and an electrolyte and which can be orally administered, is contained in the bottle 10 and the bottle opening 12 is hermetically sealed with a multilayer synthetic resin film 24 with a high gas-barrier property. The whole body including the aqueous solution 22 is sterilized with heat.</p> |
