PURPOSE: To provide a brushless rotating electric machine wherein the number of coils, determined by the number of magnetic poles, can be reduced. CONSTITUTION: Coils 11a, 11b, 11c, wound around respective cores 12a, 12b, 12c, are used to form two magnetic poles (13a, 13b), (13c, 13d), (13e, 13f), each. Further, one coil (11a-11c) and a set of two magnetic poles (13a, 13b)-(13e, 13f) are combined to form a block, respectively. Each of these flocks is contained within an angle of 90 deg.C so that it will correspond to a different pair of magnetic poles (7a, 7b)-(7g, 7h) of a rotor 2 composed of eight permanent magnets 7a-7h. In addition these blocks are placed at an interval of 120 deg. in the circumferential direction. |
