PURPOSE: To prevent fogging caused by external light entering at the time of opening a paper cassette (a deterioration in printing quality). CONSTITUTION: In this electrophotographic device structured in such a manner that the paper cassette 10 for stocking a paper sheet 9 is combined with the body case 20 including an electrifying part 2, an exposure part 3, a developing part 4, a transfer part 5, a destaticization part 6, a cleaning part 7, further, a fixing part 8 and a feeding mechanism which are arranged on or around a photoreceptor drum 1, to be freely opened/closed, an opening/closing sensor 21 for detecting the opening/closing states of the paper cassette 10 with respect to the body case 20 and an initialization commanding means for executing processing for the uniform initialization of the surface potential of the photoreceptor drum 1, in response to a change from the opened state to the closed state of the paper cassette 10 by the opening/closing sensor 21 are added. |
