<p>PURPOSE: To enable a user to concentrate on command input and improve the operation efficiency by receiving all of an inputted character string by a character string analysis part, checking the contents of the character string, and determining a process task which should execute the command. CONSTITUTION: This system consists of a computer having a character input device 3 and a display 2, and windows 20a, 20b... which display process results, etc. The character string analysis part 50 is provided between the character input device 3 and a window manager 51, and the character string 3 inputted from the character input device 3 is analyzed by the character string analysis part 50 to specify one of process tasks 1a, 1b - which accepts the inputted character string. Then the process task judged by the character string analysis part 50 is sent to the window manager 51 and then the character string 3 is inputted to the specified process task. Consequently, the need to set an active window with a pointing device is eliminated.</p> |
