<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method for removing non-metallic oxides in a noxious gas, which are difficult to be removed by a conventional method, in a simple way, and also a device for removing them in the noxious gas using this method. CONSTITUTION: Non-metallic oxides, for example, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, NOx and SOx contained in a noxious gas are removed from the gas by causing the gas to come into contact with air oil, preferably a porous carrier which carries the oil. In addition, the noxious gas removing device is composed of a noxious gas removing part which holds the porous carrier layer carrying the oil, a first gas pathway for guiding the gas to the noxious gas removing part from an introduction aperture, and a second gas pathway for guiding the gas passing through the noxious gas removing part to a discharge aperture, in a casing with the gas introduction aperture and the discharge aperture.</p> |
