<p>PURPOSE: To simply pick up an image without production of hand-shake or the like even by a small sized and light weight camera. CONSTITUTION: The image pickup device is provided with an image memory 12 storing image processing outputted from an A/D converter 7 receiving image information obtained by an image pickup means 3, a camera displacement detection section 9 detecting a posture change in the image pickup means 3, a release predict section 10 predicting a release time where a posture change of the image pickup means 3 reaches a prescribed permissible range or below based on the camera displacement signal to generate an image acquisition signal, and an image write control section 8 controlling write of the image information to the image memory 12 based on the prediction result of the release prediction section 10.</p> |
