PURPOSE: To prevent steam, etc., from entering between a light source device and a light control sheet, to prevent the light-emitting surface of the light source device and the light control sheet from being partially attracted even through the steam enters and is condensed as dew so as to keep uniform luminance in a back light device constituted by stretching the light control sheet along the light-emitting surface of the source device. CONSTITUTION: A spacer 4 is interposed between the light source device 2 and the light control sheet 3, so that the opposed surface parts of both of them are edged over an periphery. The spacer 4 forms an adhesive material layer 6 on both surfaces of a belt-like carrier 5. The spacer 4 is annularly (rectangularly shaped) formed to comfort with the shape of the peripheral part of the opposed surface parts of the device 2 and the sheet 3. By the constitution, a space equivalent to the thickness of the spacer 4 can be formed between the light exiting surface 2a of the device 2 and the sheet 3 and also the space between then can be kept in an airtight state. |
