PURPOSE: To provide an electronic musical instrument with an automatic accompaniment function which is capable of embodying diversified kinds of playing with a high musical characteristic free unnaturality by simple operation and is further capable of making playing in various playing environments with one accompaniment pattern and playing style. CONSTITUTION: Plural pieces of registration data are prepd. for each accompaniment pattern so that the registration is selectable from plural pieces of the registeration data corresponding to the selectively assigned accompaniment pattern. Then, accompaniment pattern and the registration are always harmonized if the plural registration patterns appropriate for the accompaniment patterns are prepd. for each of the respective accompaniment patterns and even if a user selects any registration from these registrations. Since the plural registrations harmonizing with the one accompaniment pattern are prepd., the playing in the various playing environments by using the one accompaniment pattern is possible. |
