PURPOSE: To prevent emitted light quantity from being lowered caused by the voltage drop of a capacitor by changing a flash until photographing is started from preliminary light emission after a sequence is shifted to the relapse sequence. CONSTITUTION: By flash light emission means FLGC, BFLC and BXE, flash light for photographing is emitted at the time of exposing film. By preliminary light emission means FLGC, BFLC, BXE and CCPU, preliminary flash light is emitted before the flash light for photographing is emitted so that the pupil of a human being performs a closing action. Besides, charge energy for emitting the flash light for photographing and the preliminary flash light is accumulated in a charge accumulation means. Then, the charge is accumulated in the charge accumulation means by an accumulation control means until the photographing is started after the preliminary flash light emission. In such a way, the flash is charged until the photographing is started from the preliminary light emission after the sequence is shifted to the release sequence. Thus, the emitted light quantity is prevented from being lowered caused by the voltage drop of the capacitor. |
