A stabiliser has a housing containing a damper body (6) within substantially less dense inertia elastic polyurethane open cell foam (5). The body is balls or similar small bodies made of metal, preferably lead. The housing has a coupling (9) at one end for connecting it to an archery bow, etc.. Also claimed is the above stabiliser where the balls, etc. are coplanar and separated by pieces of the foam. The housing may be of aluminium or glass fibre. The foam has a density of 85 kg/m3. |
