PURPOSE: To provide a continuous manufacturing method for a thin steel sheet capable of completely pressing the porosity generated in the continuously cast thin slab. CONSTITUTION: In a continuous manufacturing method of a thin steel sheet to press the porosity present in the slab, a continuously cost thin slab detached from a casting roll is hot rolled with the draft to satisfy the inequality r>=(2.74×10<-5> T<2> -6.88×10<-2> T+43.55) (t0 /w0 )...(I) using one set or a plurality sets of rolling rolls arranged at downstream side,where (r) is the draft = (h0 -h1 )/h0 , T is the rolling temperature ( deg.C), t0 is the maximum diameter (μm) of the porosity in the thickness direction of the slab, h0 is the thickness (mm) before rolling, and h1 is the thickness (mm) after rolling.
