PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of dust or electrostatic charges in the production process, to decrease the production cost and to obtain an oriented film showing an enough pretilt angle in a short time by constituting the film of a polymer compd. comprising polyvinyl cinnamate with addition of a specified compd. CONSTITUTION: This film consists of a polymer compd. material comprising polyvinyl cinnamate with addition of 6-biphenyloxy alkylacrylate compd. expressed by formula. In formula, n is an integer 1 to 20, X is H or alkyl group, Y is one of H, CN, F, Cl, Br, I and alkyl groups. In this method, the amt. of this compd. in the polymer compd. material is preferably between >=10wt.% and <=85wt%. Further, the amt. of 6-biphenyloxy alkylacrylate compd. in the polymer compd. material is preferably between, >=20wt.% and <=75wt.%. |
