PURPOSE: To miniaturize a solar power generation system and to reduce its weight by outputting a stop signal to the main circuit of an inverter using the detection signal of a Hall effect element when a DC component appears in the AC power of the inverter for converting a DC power generated by a solar cell to AC. CONSTITUTION: A solar power generation system is constituted of an inverter 22 for converting a DC power generated by a solar cell 21 to AC, the solar cell 21, and a system interconnection device 24 functioning as an interface for connecting the inverter 22 and a system power supply 23. A power distribution panel 25 incorporates a system interconnection device 24 which is connected to the system power supply 23 via a system interconnection switch 26 and the inverter 22 which is connected to the solar cell 21 and incorporates connection cables between facility equipment and the transmission cables of various kinds of signals. When a Hall effect element 29 provided at the output side of a main circuit 28 of the inverter 22 detects a DC component due to, for example, a failure of the inverter 22, it outputs a stop signal from a detection circuit 30 and rapidly stops the inverter 22, thus reducing the weight of a system and miniaturizing it. |
