<p>PURPOSE: To effectively prevent the excessive eutrophication when a waste liq. is discharged into the ocean by removing the ammonia in the waste liq. generated from a thermal power plant to lower the nitrogen concn. and introducing the liberated ammonia into the waste gas treating equipment of the boiler of the power plant to decompose the NOx and SOx into harmless matter. CONSTITUTION: This waste liq. treating device is provided with a contact tower 4 for bringing a waste liq. into contact with air to extract the ammonia in the waste liq. into the air, a device 5 for supplying air to the contact tower, a waste liq. treating device 6 for discharging the waste liq. treated in the contact tower 4 outside the plant and a pipeline 7 to join the air exhausted from the tower 4 and contg. ammonia in the denitrator of the waste gas treating line of the boiler in the thermal power plant.</p> |
