PURPOSE: To enable dwelling and living for several days after disaster or urgency by enabling escapement into an underground capsule provided with a private power generator and a ventilator and formed of a large diameter steel pipe. CONSTITUTION: A person comes down along a fixed ladder 4, through an entrance hole 3, and escapes into the inside of a capsule, and a hatch 1 is then closed from the inside. In order to prevent an oxygen shortage, a private electric generator 8 and a ventilator 7 are operated so as to obtain illumination and ventilation. An oxygen bomb which has been previously introduced into the capsule is used for preventing occurrence of an oxygen shortage. A check valve is provided in a ventilating pipe, and a steel protecting panel is installed around the entrance opening. Foods, beverage, a battery, a radio, medicines, a flashlight, dry batteries, bedding, a convenient toilet, a propane gas bomb and an electric heater have been previously prepared in the capsule so as to allow living under refuge for several days. Reinforcing ribs 9 are attached to steel pipes for the entrance hole and the living space while capacities of the generator and the ventilator are set in accordance with the spaces. |
