<p>PURPOSE: To easily and exactly bore fixing holes for pins by putting markers atop an impression pattern, detecting these markers from above, storing the marker positions and boring the surface opposite to the stored marker positions from the rear surface toward the front surface of the impression pattern. CONSTITUTION: To produce the split patterns, a dentist first forms the impression pattern 1 of the same shape as the shape of the patient's teeth by using gypsum. Next, the dentist puts the markers 8 atop the teeth of the impression pattern 1. At this time, the impression pattern 1 is used for forming a crown pattern 3 to be put on the abutment tooth 2 and, therefore, the central marker 8 is for the fixing hole 7 of the pin 5 for mounting the abutment tooth 2 on a foundation 6 and the marks 8 on both sides are for the fixing holes 7 for the pins 5 for mounting the impression pattern 1 on the foundation 6. In succession, the impression pattern 1 put with the markers 8 are set in a holding means and thereafter, the impression pattern is carried into a dark room and the positions of the markers 8 are read. A turntable is thereafter rotated to move the impression pattern 1 to the boring position, where the tip of a drill is moved to the surface opposite to the marker 8 positions.</p> |
