<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discursively transmit one movie and to increase the number of subscribers by setting a subscriber request corresponding the time interval, checking the request by the subscriber and outputting the data which is previously stored in an auxiliary storage unit when the request is similar to the former one. SOLUTION: A disk array 12 constituted of a disk storing the multiple movies dispersed into the number of disks and an auxiliary storage part 34 storing signals outputted from the array 12 are provided. A control part 38 preferentially stores the movie which is frequently requested by the subscribers in the storage part 34. An auxiliary storage control part 32 deletes data corresponding to the movie to which the request is not given again from the subscriber from the storage part 34 among the data stored in the storage part 34 even after a prescribed time passes. The independent 'subscriber request corresponding the time interval' is set in the number of disks on the array 12, the subscriber request is checked and the data which is previously stored in the storage part 34 is outputted at high speed through a high speed switch 40. Thus, one movie is discursively transmitted and the number of subscribers can be increased.</p> |
