PURPOSE: To provide an interesting variable display state rich in variety by providing a variable display control means for delivering and displaying a display result after variably starting an image display device with a variable display content changing means for changing the variable display content of plural kinds of identification information during the variable display by the image display device. CONSTITUTION: A start prize ball getting into a start hole 9 is detected by a start ball detector, and a variable display device 4 is variably started. The variable display part 5 of the variable display device 4 is divided into a left variable display part, a middle variable display part and a right variable display part, and all the variable display parts are variably started at once to scroll- display the identification information consisting of plural kinds of patterns from above to down. Each of the left, middle and right variable display parts is vertically divided into three parts to constitute nine variable display areas, and the identification information consisting of plural kinds of patterns is variably displayed in the respective variable display areas. Five hit lines in total, or three lines on horizontal upper, middle and lower stages and two lines out oblique diagonal lines, are set. |
