PURPOSE: To provide an oxygen concentration detector in which a detection element is hard to crack even when the detection element is flooded and which can be assembled easily. CONSTITUTION: An oxygen concentration detector is composed of a hot using 10, of a detection element 12 with a built-in heater, of a holder 2 which is interposed and installed between the housing 10 and the detection element 12 and which is composed of an insulating ceramic and of a protective cover 16 which is fixed to the housing 10 so as to cover the outside of the detection element 12. The protective cover 16 comprises a gas introduction hole 160. A protective tube 21 which is installed so as to extend the holder 2 is arranged between the detection element 12 and the protective cover 16. |
