PURPOSE: To prevent the deformation and damage of a clamp pole caused by the fact that the clamp pole gets brought into contact with other devices before being set and clamped in a setting hole and thereby prevent the quality degradation such as defective installation of the clamp pole on a vehicle due to the deformation and damage thereof, in a molded protector for a wire harness having the clamp pole upright on an outer wall of the main body and set and clamped in the setting hole of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: This protector has such a structure that a pair of clamp pole guard boards 6A and 6B are installed on the right and the left of a clamp pole 5. Each of the clamp pole guard board has a fixed end 8 which is fixed on an outer wall 3 and is so risen slantly that its free end 9 may be almost the same height as the clamp pole 5. The clamp pole guard boards are so placed that the width direction may be parallel with the outer wall 3. Since these boards are formed from elastic beam plates, they can bend downward elastically. |
