PURPOSE: To make accurate judgement whether an opening/closing element reciprocated by a motor has reached the reversal prohibit position set between the close position and open position, even under the situation that the supply voltage to the motor fluctuates. CONSTITUTION: A pulse encoder 3 generates pulse signals Ps in a number according to the revolving speed of a motor 1 for moving a window glass. A control circuit 5 has a counter which makes up-counting of pulse signals Ps when the window glass is moving to the open position and down-counting of signals Ps when the glass moving to the close position, and the count value of the counter is set to zero when the window glass has moved to the close position. The control circuit 5 judges that the window glass has reached the reversal prohibit position when the count value of the counter attains the reference value under the condition that the window glass is moved by the motor 1 toward the close position. The control circuit 5 make resetting so that the reversal prohibit position goes apart from the close position by altering the reference value to a greater with a higher window glass moving speed determined on the basis of the pulse signal Ps.
