<p>PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of a compressor by composing guide blades in such a way that they can go in and out from diffuser parts. CONSTITUTION: This supercharger has compressor scrolls 9 equipped with impellers 5 which are arranged to the hub 3 of a compressor rotor 2 rotated in a housing 1 having an airflow inlet 6, and diffuser parts 8 communicated to the ejection opening of an air passage 4. This device also has guide blades 10 which are arranged to be projected/retracted from/in the diffuser parts 8, an actuator 11 by which the guide blades 10 are projected from or retracted in the diffuser parts 8 and a controller which operates the actuator 11 in response to the operating state of an engine.</p> |
