<p>PURPOSE: To suppress the occurrence of cavitation and sand wear by a method wherein composite powder of austenite stainless steel and metal carbide ceramics is used, and a padding layer having a coagulation texture structure wherein ceramics particles remain is formed on the surface of an apparatus member surface. CONSTITUTION: A runner body being the moving vane of a water turbine has a plurality of vanes 3 located between a crown 1 and a shroud 2, and provided with a runner cone 4, guide vanes 5, stay vanes 6, a runner liner 7, and a facing plate 8. In this case, a member having a padding weld layer having cavitation resistance higher than that of a parent material is arranged at a part on which an impact by flow water is exerted. A padding weld layer forms a metal texture having a matrix of austenite stainless steel and dispersing carbide. Further, the austenite stainless steel contains 0.05-0.15wt.% C, 0.2-1.0% Si, 7-13wt.% Mn, 2-7wt.% Ni, and 17-23wt.% Cr or is a steel containing 1-3wt.% Mo or other.</p> |
