SYNTHETIC ZEOLITE SUBSTANCE

PURPOSE: To obtain a titanosilicate having an MFI structure rich in thermal stability. CONSTITUTION: This synthetic zeolite substance is crystalline and porous and contains silicon oxide and titanium oxide represented by the general formula nSiO2 .(1-n)TiO2 [(n) is 0.8-0.99] and titanium oxide. The synthetic zeolite substance manifests an X-ray diffraction pattern of an MFI structure and further an absorption near 960cm<-1> in an infrared absorption spectrum. Furthermore, the substance has pares having a diameter between 10 and 20Åseparate from pores having a diameter between 5 and 6Åessentially possessed by a pentasil type zeolite.
