PURPOSE: To lessen loss and enable downsizing without giving interference noise to other electronic devices by constituting an insulating circuit of a capacitor. CONSTITUTION: An insulating circuit 45 is one where primary terminals A and B and secondary terminals C and D are connected with each other through capacitors C1 and C2 each in series, and an insulating barrier 44 is constituted between the primary terminals A and B and the secondary terminals C and D by the capacitors C1 and C2, and the secondary terminals C and D electrically float to the primary terminals A and B. And, the current outputted from a high-frequency switching power circuit 15 is transmitted to the other side through the dielectrics inside the capacitors C1 and C2, with electric fields as media, without flowing directly inside the capacitors C1 and C2. As a result, it hardly give rise to iron loss or copper loss, so the reduction of loss is possible, and since it does not need a high-frequency transformer, the downsizing of the insulating circuit becomes possible. |
