PURPOSE: To grow plants and to secure a living place for wild birds, fishes and shellfishes, aquatic insects, etc., on the surface of a lake or a pond and a slope, etc., and to improve water quality bettering effect and a natural environment by raise of plant. CONSTITUTION: An inner vacant space of a solid netlike mat skeleton 2 having the inner vacant space is packed with planting soil 3 and the whole peripheral face is surrounded with a planting sheet 4 for preventing outflow of soil. A foamed floating plate 5 through which roots can spread is laid on the under surface of the solid netlike mat skeleton and surrounded with a covering sheet 6 made of a synthetic resin fiber and integrated. Optionally, a root stopping sheet 14 for preventing passing of roots of a plant is laid between the under surface of the planting sheet 4 for preventing outflow of soil and the foamed floating plate 5. |
