ELEVATOR POSITION COMPENSATION DEVICE & METHOD

The device is designed to compensate absolute position difference by a SLIP at power failure especially during the operation of an elevator. The device includes : a sheeve (2) connected to a car (1) via a loop (9) and a motor (3); a pulse counting circuit (13) for counting pulse generated from an encoder (4); an electrostatic monitoring circuit (14) for generating electrostatic processing request signal; a ROM for storing location compensating data at power recovery; a load signal converting circuit (19) for converting load signal through a load signal line (9-1); and an operation control circuit (18).
