The cover comprises a circular cuff (5) moved along a length of the container (1) between two end positions. One end is closer to the open end (2) of the container than the other. A part (19) in the lid (15) creates a slot-like hole (20) into which the vessel and the cuff fits in one end position. In the other end position, the open end of the vessel is pressed against the lid.
