PURPOSE: To estimate toner concentration and to keep the toner concentration in a developing unit constant at all times by processing all at once various parameters relating to the estimation of the toner concentration in an image formation process. CONSTITUTION: The device learns neural network from black toner concentration and various image formation process data (development efficiency, humidity, temperature, the number of copies, and color toner concentration), batch processes the parameters by using the neural net work, which has learned, and estimates the black toner density. Toner replenishment is carried out based on the estimated toner concentration. |
