PURPOSE: To prevent different packets from coexisting in a cell unit even 10 the case where the plural packets are received at a time in the same virtual path. CONSTITUTION: A means to add a multiplex identifier 80-9 in which the range of a value capable of being taken for every LAN adapter does not overlap or an extended identifier capable of discriminating each LAN adapter to a fixed length cell of the divided packet is provided. Besides, this system is constituted so that even if the packets having the same destination address arrive at a connectionless server, these packets are discriminated by the multiplex identifier or the extended identifier, and each of them is assembled separately, and the different packets are prevented from coexisting in the cell unit. |
