<p>PURPOSE: To provide a branch joint which can branch a branch pipe in relation to a pipe to be connected, and by which the connection of branch parts can be made easily and positively. CONSTITUTION: An engagingly locking part 11 of a mounting body 6 fitted with a packing body 7 is inserted from the outside into an opening part 2 of a pipe 1 to be connected, by elastically deforming elastic pieces 16, 16 inwardly. A joint body 5, to which a branch pipe is mounted, is inserted into the mounting body 6 from the reinforcing part 21 side for a spacer 8 to be fitted on the mounting body 6. The female screw part 41 of a cap nut 9 is screwed onto the male screw part 12 of the mounting body 6 to allow the pressing part 44 of the cap nut 9 to abut against a fallout preventing part 28 of the joint body 5 for the joint body 5 to be fitted and inserted in the mounting body 6. The elastic pieces 16, 16 are elastically deformed outside at the reinforcing part 21 by fit-insertion of the joint body 5 into the mounting body to press the peripheral edge of the opening part 2 to engagingly lock engagingly locking claw parts 17, 17 to the circumferential side edge of the opening part 2. An abutting part 43 of the cap nut 9 presses the spacer 8 against the pipe 1 to be connected, a flange part 36 of the spacer 8 presses the mounting body 6 and the packing body 7, and thus a branch joint body 3 is mounted.</p> |
