摘要 FIELD: lock production. SUBSTANCE: combination lock has casing, coding mechanism and a key of rectangular cross section. Coding mechanism is installed in lock casing and made in the form of a cylinder with crosswise slot. The slot and casing slot are aligned. Two coding plates with lengths related as "a"<"R", "b"="R", where "a" is the length of the first plate, "b" is the length of the second plate, "R" is outer radius of the cylinder, are installed in several lines with intermediate spacers. The plates are installed in pairs about cylinder symmetry axis to form "apertures" with the shape being the same as key cross section in the coding zone. The plates are of polygonal shapes with one side of bow shape with radius equal to the cylinder radius. A washer is placed on the of the cylinder end facing the key. Shaped slot is originated in the washer in the zone of key passing through. The slot is through. A ledge made on the cylinder end is placed in the slot. As this takes place, subsequent alternating slots inclined at the angle exceeding the angle of key turning are originated on lateral surfaces of the ley facing the plates. Width of each slot exceeds plate width. Flat spring with the cross section in the form of bracket is placed in the area of installation of the lines of coding plates. Hold-down plates are installed between internal surface of the bracket adjoining the coding plates and external end of coding plates. EFFECT: higher reliability.
